Iron punners, also known as square rammers, are used for consolidating earth, hardcore and tarmac. Particularly useful for tamping around lighting columns and telegraph poles but unlike half moon punner, iron punners have a square edge making then useful when close to walls and corners where other punners and machinery would leave a ridge
- Available in a steel, polyfibrepro or shocksafe construction
- Steel shaft spades are robust yet lightweight
- Polyfibrepro spades have a resin fibreglass core, virtually eliminating breakages and preventing injury
- Shocksafe conforms to BS8020 and flash tested to 10,000 Volts
