Prysmian Tube Distribution Closure (TDC) cable galnds are used to install blown tube drop cables into the Tube Distribution Closures. The glands contain two grip rings, which provide both lateral and axial cable retention to blown tube cables.
- Also contains two sealing rings and two o'seals to provide an IP68 seal if needed
- Glands are available in 'End Port and 'Side Port' entry
- IMPORTANT: For Direct Buried Cable - the gland size selected must be based on the inner sheath diameter of the cable, as the outer sheath is removed before entering the closure to prevent water migration along the cable between the 2 sheaths
