The OPT tool separates the web joining the Blown Fibre Droptube (BFD) and copper element (containing a twisted pair) enabling the individual components to be terminated at both distribution pole and the customer's premises
- The interchangeable anodised tool cassettes and covers (label coloured blue for this variant) are attached to a universal handle mechanism
- The handle locking mechanism ensures the tool remains closed during the sheath slitting operation
- A wrist strap and user instructions are supplied with each tool
- Overall dimensions 210mm (W) x 67mm (D) x 34mm (H) including cassette
