FiberLert is a non-contact device that, when simply waved in front of a fibre connector, can detect the presence or otherwise of near infra-red light, helping to quickly and easily identify faulty fibres, connectors or transmission equipment. FiberLert has visible and audible warnings of the presence of a light signal and works with singlemode and multimode light sources and any connector type
