The DCH253 delivers more power than a conventional drill and provides 2.1J of impact energy. With a maximum drilling capacity of 26mm in concrete and 24mm in wood, its ideal for drilling anchors and fixing holes in heavy-duty material. A rotation stop mode means it can also be used for light chiselling applications

• An 18V XR battery and powerful brushless motor deliver up to 1550rpm and 4500 blows per minute. This gives a maximum drilling capacity of 26mm into concrete, 13mm in metal, and 26mm in wood
• For light plaster and render chiselling users can select the rotation stop mode, while for wood and metal rotary drilling there is an impact stop mode
• As part of the Perform & Protect range, the DCH253 has a best-in-class low vibration of 6.6m/s2, while its compact and lightweight design improves user comfort during extended periods of use
