Protects the FlexScan OTDR ports from damage due to mating with dirty or damaged launch cables or patch leads or normal wear-and-tear. Suitable for use with FlexScan FS200 or FlexScan FS300 OTDRs or FlexScan TS100 Troubleshooters, the Optical Port Ferrule Saver installs in seconds and accepts AFL's tool-free interchangeable SC, LC, FC and ST connector adapters. Damaged port savers can be replaced in the field, removing the need to return the OTDR to a service centre for an expensive and time-consuming repair
