Connectivity provider Zyxel Communications has embarked on a major rebranding campaign that will see its messaging around the world updated to better reflect the challenges involved in today's market.
The company stated that it is looking ahead in order to help customers build networks that achieve their goals and change the world for the better.
It observed improved networking is something that will be particularly important in the coming years as the number of connected devices in use explodes. The organisation highlighted figures from Gartner that predict that by the start of the next decade, there will be nearly 21 billion connected devices in the hands of users around the world.
Zyxel said these gadgets will have a key role to play in creating more efficient workplaces, developing fresh business models and transforming the way people live their lives.
However, despite this promise, it noted that much of the potential these devices can offer is being held back because the networks that underpin them are still slow, insecure and in some cases, even non-existent.
It is this problem that Zyxel is trying to address, and the new approach will highlight how having the right connectivity partner is vital in achieving businesses' goals.
"People and organisations need a partner who understands their struggles and provides solutions that help them meet these challenges," the company stated. Zyxel's new strategy - under the banner 'Your Networking Ally' - will aim to highlight the core competencies of the organisation and the close relationship it has with its customers.
President of the company Gordon Yang said it is "solid and exciting" to be making the transition to a full solution provider.
"It's solid because we are holding most of the technologies in our hands already," he explained. "And it's exciting because we are standing side-by-side with our customers, helping them achieve their goals - unlocking their potential."
As well as the new tagline and a redesigned visual identity, the campaign will highlight a number of stories that demonstrate how Zyxel networking solutions are making a difference around the world.
These include how the firm's technology helps to deliver banking services to remote villages in China, its work assisting in building irrigation systems in drought-prone areas of the US, and how it connects schools in Europe to the wider internet.
