Comtec ranked 70 in The Sunday Times International Track 200, the league table of Britain's mid-market private companies with the fastest growing international sales.
The International Track 200 ranks the 200 mid-market companies (£25m+ total sales) based on their growth in international sales over the last two years of available data.
The average international sales growth for the 200 companies was 32% a year, to a total of £8.2bn on combined total sales of £20.5bn. The 200 featured companies export to all corners of the globe and employ more than 194,000 staff, having added 43,000 jobs over the same period.
With offices in three continents, Comtec's international sales grew 43.85% (2 year average). This impressive growth to £4.2m in 2013 followed the opening of it's Qatar office in 2012 and saw the company ranked for the first time in the 2015 Sunday Times International Track 200.
A typical International Track 200 company:
- has total sales ranging from £25m to £200m.
- has international sales ranging from £5m to £100m.
- has average 2-year international sales growth ranging from 15% to 340%pa.
- has between 50 and 1,000 staff.
- is in the consumer goods, business services or food and drink sector
