We are pleased to announce that Comtec Group (International) has acquired a significant shareholding in CHH CoNeX, Birmingham. Both companies operate predominantly in the Telecom sector.
The capabilities CHH possess are a great complement to the Comtec Group offering. In particular their rack and cabinet fully managed integration solutions offering collaborative design and development, prototype manufacture and review, and certified testing (eg. IP, EMC, Noise, RF, Safety).
Specific growth and profitability targets have been agreed for CHH with the ultimate aim that it joins the Comtec Group on a wholly owned basis within three years. During this period CHH will continue to operate as a separate company run by its existing management team. Tim Hughes, CHH Managing Director and John Archer, Comtec Executive Chairman will lead the joint market strategy.
The Comtec Group has a plan to grow to £100m sales by 2020. The addition of CHH will yield a combined sales figure close to £60m for the calendar year 2017, putting us well on track towards this target.
